The first Great Taste, "A Gourmet Emporium," was held at the Carriage House at the Evergreen Museum & Library in the spring of 1987. Over the years this spring event has taken many forms and has featured kitchen, home, and garden tours, a city-wide dinner party in 20 local homes, a gala dinner in a historic horse barn, a wine gala including cellar tours, dinner and auction, and a preview party for the opening of Wegmans at Hunt Valley.

The Women's Board is grateful to all who purchased tickets to our most recent tour of homes surrounding Baltimore's Inner Harbor, "Luxury Living & Hidden Treasures", and to the following sponsors who contributed generously to the event. With this support, Great Taste 2008 was the most successful tour to date.
